Video Audition Requirements

Videos should be submitted through Dance Apply. The last day to submit a video audition is April 12.

Please submit a headshot, a photo of the dancer in first arabesque, and a video (no longer than 10 minutes). The video should show your full body at all times and include only the applicant. Performance footage or variations will not be accepted.

Barre (short combinations showing one side only)

· Pliés
· Tendus
· Adagio
· Grand battements

Center (showing both sides)

· Adagio
· Waltz/pirouettes: include en dehors and en dedans turns
· Medium allegro: include glissades, assemblés, jetés, sissonnes, batterie, etc.
· Grand allegro

Men’s technique

· Tours en l’air

Pointe Work (ladies only)

· A relevé combination (Relevés, Échappés, Retirés, ballonés, etc)
· A combination on the diagonal using turning steps (piqué turns, châinés, soutenu turns, etc.)
