Our instruction begins with natural, playful childhood movements—stretching, jumping, swaying and spinning—and builds into positions and movements that form the language of dance. This program reinforces and stimulates the developmental patterns of young children, and helps them develop rhythm, motion, coordination and self-expression. It also prepares them for further study in the challenging discipline of ballet. Students are placed by age and then continuously evaluated and moved to another class when appropriate.
