An Intriguing New Work

Premieres Nov. 5

The parameters around social distancing influenced Artistic Director, Steven McMahon to create a new work of interwoven solos, duets and trios. A work born out of necessity and a desire to speak to the shared experience of quarantine.

Steven McMahon, Artistic Director
We all long to be seen, heard, and celebrated for what each of us has to contribute. When physical distance is necessary, how do we maintain connection?

Each of Ballet Memphis' professional company members is a skilled artist, and the story of who they are is manifested in their bodies. This is a moment for Ballet Memphis to pause, look inward, and express the truth of who our company is to the audience. We are showcasing and appreciating our dancers for the fullness of who they are.
