Memphis Botanic Garden, LIVE AT THE GARDEN STAGE

Ballet Memphis returns to the Memphis Botanic Garden and brings back Steven McMahon’s Carnival of the Animals as well as the perennial favorite, Trey McIntyre’s In Dreams for a special one-night event under the starts. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. with activities for the entire family. Performance begins at dusk and will run one hour. Two ticket options are available including general admission lawn seating for $10 and chair seating for $25.

Playhouse on the Square

Three new works by Mark Godden, Steven McMahon and Company dancer Julie Marie Niekrasz explore what it means to be a dancer in the modern world. Looking at the classical vocabulary and its manifestations choreographically – what a classical tutu ballet might look like in the future, what music would sound like, what does a corps or principal dancer look like, and more will be explored in this exciting mixed repertory show.

The Orpheum, with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra

Ballet Memphis and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra present one of Memphis’ most beloved holiday traditions. More than 100 professional dancers, children, musicians and vocalists make this holiday tradition an extraordinary experience for all.

Second in an exciting new series of work by three choreographers: Uri Sands, Steven McMahon and a reprise of Mark Godden’s Angels in the Architecture.
