Summer Dance

Intensives and Workshops that go beyond technique

Summers at Ballet Memphis are, well, different! As the only classical ballet school housed within a professional company, our students have the benefit of learning from the professionals, but in a setting that is fun, creative and supportive at the same time. We believe in possibilities, and that every child should have a chance to soar!

Summer Intensive II: BEYOND Technique / July 9-27, 2018

With the goal of becoming more complete dancers, this one-of-a-kind immersion in living the life of a professional dancer is modeled on the daily schedule of our company dancers. In a mentoring environment, participants will work alongside our professional artists in rehearsal and performance, learning skills that go beyond classroom technique to understand how best to work with their bodies, develop an exemplary work ethic, foster creativity, and gain hands-on experience in the technical aspects of theatrical production and design. Participation on all days is mandatory. Intensive includes two performances, one a final public performance on July 27

Ballet 7 & 8 $1,200 | M–S for two weeks, then M–F, 9:30a-5p daily
