Pablo Sánchez was born in Puebla, México, and began his training at the Dance Academy of Libertyville in Illinois. He graduated with a B.S. in Ballet Performance and Outside Field in Communications and Culture from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Pablo danced with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, Atlanta Ballet, and toured as a freelance artist before joining Ballet Memphis in 2017. His repertoire includes works by Gregory Dawson, Steven McMahon, Julie Marie Niekrasz, Penny Saunders, Rachelle Scott, and Michael Smith. In 2019 he choreographed for Ballet Memphis’s Giselle Redux: Through the Veil and was the recipient of the inaugural Zach Lazar Fellowship for the Joffrey Ballet Academy’s Winning Works 2020.

As part of Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month, Pablo created Pablo En Ballet Memphis and Pablo En Casa.
