Sergio Masero-Olarte

Sergio Masero-Olarte is from Madrid, Spain and came to Ballet Memphis in 2014. He trained at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza in Madrid before coming to the San Francisco Ballet School where he studied for two years on full scholarship. He also did intensives at the School of American Ballet. Highlights with Ballet Memphis include Romeo in Steven McMahon’s Romeo and Juliet; the Prince in Nutcracker; pas de trois in Swan Lake; and in McMahon’s I Am, in Gabrielle Lamb’s Elapse and in Matthew Neenan’s Water of the Flowery Mill and The Darting Eyes.
