Jonathan David Dummar started his dance career in 2003 at Ballet Memphis and returned to the Company in 2015 after several years with the Joffrey Ballet. He trained at The Harid Conservatory, graduating as valedictorian. He is the recipient of a Rudolf Nureyev Foundation Scholarship. Favorite roles and ballets include Mark Godden’s Angels in the Architecture, Yuri Possokhov’s Bells, Trey McIntyre’s The Reassuring Effects of Form and Poetry, George Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto, and Jennifer Archibald’s Glory.
