A Midsummer Night's Dream
Shakespeare's most exuberant work proves stunningly current in this new restaging.

Dreaming of love and believing in possibilities, the characters of this Shakespeare work bring us in touch with the realities of our own lives all the while delivering a delightfully funny and endearing performance. Lauded Canadian choreographer Mark Godden originally choreographed this work for us for the 07-08 season and The Orpheum stage. He returns to us this season under our theme of "telling our stories" to restage the vivid piece for Playhouse. In this new intimate setting you will believe you are flying right alongside Puck!

A Midsummer Night's Dream is our fall mainstage performance at Playhouse on the Square, and is offered as part of the season subscription package along with AbunDANCE: Where the Girls Are 2 and Romeo & Juliet. Subscriptions start at just $60 and offer you the first opportunity to reserve seats to the annual sold-out fundraiser, Connections: Food.
