Take a Quick Glimpse of the Original Work Ballet Memphis Brings to the Stage Each Year.

AbunDANCE is a collection of new work from four renowned choreographers who each expressed through dance a view of one of the world's great religions.

Barramundi was choreographed by Trey McIntyre for Ballet Memphis' first annual Connections: Food fundraiser where each course of the meal is paired with new dance work. In this case, the hermaphroditic fish was the main course.

San Francisco-based choreographer Julia Adam was tapped by Artistic Director Dorothy Gunther Pugh to bring Eudora Welty's short story A Curtain of Green to life for the stage as part a series showcasing Southern heritage.

Grace, choreographed by Trey McIntyre, is set in part to a live gospel choir.

In Dreams makes heartbreak look like fun when set to songs by Cindy Walker, Sam Phillips, Roy Orbison and Joe Melson.

Naughty Boy intertwines pairs of lovers on stage with pixyish delight.

Pork Songs, where the central, beautiful pig complete in pink tutu is chased and taunted by her fellow dancers looking to make her into bacon, is set to the most amazing compilation of southern roots music ever assembled around a single theme.

Garrett Ammon's energetic folk performance of Short Trip Home combines banjo and violin into an unforgettable Southern experience.
