A Weekend of "Interiorworks" at the Studio

  Virginia Pilgrim and Stephanie Mei Hom introduced a wonderful night of new dances at Interiorworks 14 on Friday night. The show ran Thursday through Saturday night last weekend at the Ballet Memphis studio. Adventure in Guatemala City Begins Tomorrow

A group of company dancers leaves tomorrow for Guatemala City where they'll showcase Matthew Neenan's "Party of the Year", Steven McMahon's "Being Here with Other People", Robert Battle's "Takademe" (party of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's repertory and danced by Kendall Britt), and Trey McIntyre's "In Dreams". Wonderful Weekend of Oz

  After performing in ballets there as a child, I still get butterflies when I enter The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Memphis. On Sunday afternoon the beautiful theatre was filled with people, including lots of excited kids dressed up and ready to meet Dorothy, the Lion, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man.
