Wizard of Oz casting announced for upcoming Orpheum performances

Our leading lady, Dorothy, will be danced by Anwen David and Julie Marie Niekrasz. Julie previously danced the role of Glinda, and this will be Anwen's first Wizard of Oz with Ballet Memphis, but you'll recognize both of their wonder-filled moves from numerous awe-inspiring performances.    Along her travels Dorothy becomes fast friends with the Scarecrow. Change Is Mantra At Brooks, Ballet Memphis by Bill Dries for Memphis Daily News
