But in the real world, revenue from ticket sales simply cannot meet the expense of presenting world-class dance on professional stages and training future dancers in our school. Contributed income covers approximately half of our annual operating costs.  This is why individual contributions and corporate sponsorships are so crucial to the success and vibrancy of Ballet Memphis.
